Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Activist, writer and politician

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, founder of the AHA Foundation, and host of The Ayaan Hirsi Ali Podcast. Born in Somalia, she served as a member of the Dutch Parliament from 2003 to 2006, where she championed the rights of Muslim women and fought for the integration of immigrants into Western civic life. She is the author of Infidel, Nomad, Heretic, and Prey, and one of the world's most prominent voices on Islam, free expression, and the defense of Western liberal values.
