Matt Taibbi is an award-winning investigative journalist and one of America's most distinctive literary voices. After studying in Leningrad and working as a correspondent in Russia, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia, he co-founded the satirical Moscow newspaper the eXile before joining Rolling Stone, where he earned a National Magazine Award for his coverage of presidential campaigns and the 2008 financial crisis. He is the author of ten books, four of them New York Times bestsellers, and is best known in recent years for publishing the Twitter Files. He writes on Substack, co-hosts the podcast America This Week with Walter Kirn, and publishes Racket News.
